When Everything Changes, Everything Changes |
 In 1997, my entire life was falling apart and I began to seriously ask myself some life-altering questions. Big changes were initiated as a result. Although my father had passed away many years earlier, it was as if he was nudging me to be the change I wished to see in my life, my body and family.
I left my first marriage, moved to a new town with my babies, and in desperation, stepped back onto a spiritual path that unfolded into an instant healing of a deadly disease just a few months later.
In this healing, I experienced what many would call an awakening and my first experience of channeled writing (with my future mother-in-law, no less). Simply put, I broke wide open and nothing was ever the same again.
That next year, as I continued to expand and release, expand and release, I lost almost everything I ever owned, but in the process, I found a home within myself and my Source that I could not have ever imagined.
My life needed to turn upside down in order to right itself. I needed to lose what I thought was important to discover what was truly sacred. I saw and understood the past traumas and losses in my life as training for what was coming and began to realize that I was being birthed into a greater realization of my purpose. EVERYTHING WAS CHANGING and all I could do was stop fighting it and surrender.
Whether or not we are aware, we are always on a path of discovery and awakening. Sometimes the path is bumpy, at other times it is filled with bliss. Looking at our own evolutions, we can uncover layers along the way that deepen our understandings of who we are and why we are here. And yet, we continually hear some common themes from those on the path.
